1987 Sunrise Mall expands making room for an additional anchor (Mervyns) and 10 extra stores. 2 parking garages were built to house the growing Mall.
1987 Frost Bros and Joske's close due to bankruptcy and leave room for 2 anchors. Montgomery Ward fills the empty spot left by Joske's.
1989 Burlington Coat Factory fills the empty spot left by Frost Bros.
