State of Terror Overview

In the novel State of Terror by Louise Penny and Hillary Rodham Clinton, the United States is under attack from within. It is up to Ellen Adams, the newly installed Secretary of State, to determine who in the highest levels of government are loyal and who are enemies. Ellen and her best friend and counselor, Elizabeth “Betsy” Jameson must use all means necessary to identify the traitors before bombs built and planted at the order of a Pakistani terrorist are detonated.
