Sleeping Giants is a science fiction novel and Book 1 of the Themis Files by Sylvain Neuvel in which an unknown interviewer and researcher Rose Franklin seek to determine the alien origin and intent of a massive metallic weapon in the form of a giant warrior girl. Sleeping Giants deals with important themes that range from the idea that humanity is not alone in the universe to the idea that humankind is not as advanced as it believes itself to be.
