Silence of the Grave is an Icelandic Crime Novel from award winning author Arnaldur Indridason. The novel tells the same story through an intermingling of the past and present, so that the reader experiences them as two stories that eventually come together. The story from the past centers around a woman and her children who are horribly abused by her husband while the story in the present tells of Detective Erlendur and his team investigating skeletal remains found during a child’s birthday party.
