Sara Moulton is the executive chef of Gourmet magazine and was host of the Food Network show Sara's Secrets and Cooking Live. She then worked in restaurants in Boston and New York City and as an apprentice in Chartres, France. She worked as a sous-chef at La Tulipe in New York and co-founded the New York Women's Culinary Alliance. In 1983 she worked at the Institute of Culinary Education and in 1984 she took a job in the test kitchen of Gourmet magazine, where she eventually became executive chef. Her friendship with Julia Child also led to a position of executive chef for Good Morning America, cooking behind the scenes for guests. She became the show's Food Contributor in March 1996. In 1997 she became the host of the Food Network's Cooking Live. After Cooking Live, Moulton went on to host Sara's Secrets. She currently lives in New York City with her husband, Bill, and their two children, Ruth and Sam. Sara Moulton has left the Food Network for a program at an undisclosed future date on PBS.
