Judy had been someone disappointed with the Christian church that her family attended in her hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She had a dust-up with the co-director of the church's Vacation Bible School and was at a loss as to how to handle the conflict because, she relates, she had not lived with the strength of the scriptures.
