Moon Chosen Overview

In the first installment of the Tales of a New World series, Moon Chosen, three races of supernatural beings live in conflict with one another in a post-apocalyptic Oregon. The Skin Stealers eat the Companions who enslave the Earth Walkers. A young heroine named Mari, descendant of star-crossed lovers, half Companion and half Earth Walker, discovers her unique powers as the world around her threatens to implode. As Mari works to find a way to build a new world for herself and her friends, the novel explores mixed-race identity, dystopian societies, religion and mythology, nature, and feminism.
