Mark Potter is the President of the International Hockey Hall of Fame in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Potter is a veteran broadcaster with CKWS-TV and Cogeco cable. He hosts a weekly show called "Sports Profiles". In 2003, he co-authored a book with Bill Fitsell "Hockey's Hub-Three Centuries of Hockey in Kingston," chronicling hockey heritage. Potter is also the announcer for the K-Town Triathlon, ring announcer for the Kingston Boxing Club and has served on the Board of Directors of the Kingston And District Sports Hall of Fame. In the fall of 2006, Potter unsuccessfully ran for city council in the King's Town district in Kingston, ON against one other opponent.
