Studio album by Jonny Lang
Released 2003
Recorded 2003
Genre Blues

The Album was recorded at MF Studio and The Attic, Monrovia, California and released on October 14, 2003.

This fourth album from the still relatively young Jonny Lang has been "long time coming" with five years passing since the release of the album before. Five years for Lang to grow and find his musical place. His style has change a bit and Jonny has incorporated more R&B influences into his overall musical style. Not at all though neglecting his love for the blues. The album has more rock-elmements compared to the previous and features at least one ballad with beat and arrangement comparable to a Justing Timberlake song ("Touch") Because of this "popular" way Jonny is playing the blues he is attracting the younger audience and leaving them interessted and wanting to find out more about this stuff called the blues. The "Long time coming" album has been called a more soulful album and there are definitely some well written and personal songs that only Jonny could sing. One of the songs though is a cover of Edgar Winter's "Dying to Live" that Jonny apparently appreciates, and who can blame him for that.

Personnel includes: Jonny Lang (vocals, guitar); Marti Frederiksen (electric guitar, bass, drums, percussion); John Goux (guitar); Jim Cox (piano, Wurlitzer piano, Hammond B-3 organ); Scott Gordon (Wurlitzer piano, programming); Bruce McCabe (clavinet); Joey Waronker (drums); Lenny Castro (congas); Kayla Parker (background vocals); Steven Tyler; Anthony Hamilton. The album also features Aerosmith's Steven Tyler on "Happiness and Misery," where he plays the harmonica.
