kaddish.com is a novel by Nathan Englander. The story follows Larry, a man from an Orthodox Jewish family who decides to live a secular life. When Larry’s father dies, Larry becomes interested in Judaism and even becomes an Orthodox rabbi. He feels fulfilled in his new life. However, Larry’s past failure to say proper mourning prayers for his father sends Larry on a quest of personal redemption and religious exploration.
