John "Jocky" Petrie (b. 1867 or 1868) was a Scottish football player. He played for Arbroath F.C.. He holds the record for the most goals ever scored in a senior British football game, 13. This was during Arbroath's famous 36-0 victory over Bon Accord F.C. in 1885. At an international level, his record was equalled in 2001 by Archie Thompson who scored 13 goals for Australia.
