Jesse Marsh (July 27, 1907 - April 28, 1966) was a comic book and animation artist. His main claim to fame is his work on the early Tarzan and related books for Western Publishing that saw print through Dell Comics and later Gold Key Comics. He was the first artist to produce original Tarzan comic books. Up to that time, all Tarzan comics were reprints from the newspaper strips. He also worked on the Gene Autry comic for many years. Prior to working for Western, he had worked for the Walt Disney Company, doing animation work for Pinocchio and Fantasia. He would turn over Tarzan to Russ Manning in 1965 due to failing health.
