Greenwich is a graphical WHOIS client for GNOME. It was programmed in Perl by Gavin Brown, who uses the nickname "Jodrell". In order to build Greenwich, one must have Perl and these Perl libraries installed:

  • Gtk2-Perl
  • Gnome2
  • Gtk::GladeXML
  • Locale::gettext
  • IP::Authority

As of this writing, the most recent version, released on February 7, 2006, is 0.8.2. A Microsoft Windows port of Greenwich exists as part of the Cygwin Ports project. [1]
