“Golden Son” is a dystopian science fiction novel by Pierce Brown, forming the second installment in his Red Rising Trilogy. “Golden Son” picks up two years after the events of “Red Rising”, in which the 20-year-old Darrow now seeks to reorder Society to bring about freedom and equality for all. "Golden Son" deals with important themes that include dystopianism, war, loyalty, justice, and freedom as Darrow goes to war to change the future.
