Dragonslayer Overview
Tui Sutherland's novel, Dragonslayer, is the second of this series set in a world where dragons are the largest creatures, posing a serious threat to humans. In this installment, the young humans are beginning to see that life could be different if they did not live under the tyrannical rulers who are too corrupt to act unselfishly for the good of all. Several of the youngsters believe they could live in relative peace with the dragons, and they set out to make that a reality. The novel's main themes are the changing relationships between humans and dragons, the effects of greed, and coming of age.
