Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet (Book 2) Overview

Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet (Book Two) is a trade-paperback reprinting of Issues 5-8 of the Black Panther comic book. It continues T'Challa's quest to overcome the turmoil currently facing his home nation of Wakanda. The People's rebellion, under the leadership of Tetu, Zenzi, and American Zeke Stane, are continually building their forces and hope to topple T'Challa as King and create a new Wakanda governed by its citizens. Additionally, Ayo and Aneka, two of T'Challa's former bodyguards, have teamed up as the Midnight Angels to protect the marginalized of Wakanda, particularly women, from a King and government that they have lost faith in. Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet (Book 2) addresses themes of whiteness, tradition vs. progress, and balancing outside influence with independence.
